These little babies work really really well! They clip together nicely and securely; open up easily (might need to keep them lubricated over time or they’ll get stiff though); and they are as stable as small light stands can be. Also they are really tall! Their major downside is that, as small stands, they don’t so a good job with a boom arm and would be tricky to weight down if that was what you wanted to do.They are, however, well-made and thoughtfully designed so really you can’t complain for the price and, in fact, you should be very, very pleased with them.Ideally they could do with a transport bag – this bundle doesn’t include one and the official bag is the same price as another stand but you could get a big holdall for much less and that’s all you’d need isn’t it?

Bei Manfrotto weiß man was man erwarten darf.Die Artikelschreibung fällt hier auf ja leider etwas knapp aus.Wichtig zu erwähnen wäre:Die Stative können alle miteinander verbunden werden, um z.B. beim Transport quasi nur ein einzelnes Teil zu haben.Im eingeklappten Zustand sind die Stative sehr schmal, da die Beine nicht wie bei anderen Stativen einfach zur Mitte geklappt werden, sondern quasi nebeneinander liegen wenn sie zusammengeklappt sind. Das Stativ ist dann kaum breiter als die Mittelsäule.Die Aufnahme ist ein 1/4 Zoll Adapter auf einem 3/8 Zoll Gewinde. Darunter ist ein normaler Spigot-Zapfen.Diese Stative sind trotz ihres unglaublich geringen Gewichts sehr stabil. Beim Einsatz im Freien habe ich sicherheitshalber Sandsäcke dabei, nutze diese jedoch nur wenn ich einen wirklich großen Schirm (150cm Durchmesser) aufspanne und etwas Wind weht.Für den Transport nutze ich die Manfrotto-Tasche LBAG90 (klein bis 85cm).

Exceptional quality stands. I use them all the time for weddings. Great being able to clip the three of them together, neater in the car. Just be careful with the tightening nut, tends to fall out during transport if you don’t tighten it properly after use. I found it in the boot of my car a few times. Great besides…

Après deux ans d’utilisation intensive pour les avoir trimballé partout, ces trépieds sont robustes. Ils s’emboitent parfaitement entre eux.Pour le transport ils sont très compactes, pour les avoir emmener partout. Et ils ont une bonne hauteur tout déplié, plus de 2 mètres.Ils acceptent une bonne charges utile (4kg max) grâce à des sections plutôt épais, rendant une très bonne stabilité.Le dernier plus de ces trépied étant la présence d’un système de descente à air comprimé, protégeant ainsi le matériel monté dessus d’une mauvaise manipulation.Un must à avoir dans son matériel photo/video.

I have 6 of these stands. I own a lot of Manfrotto kit but these are so portable and solid when set up they have to be my favourite. They clip together into a block, separate them out and because they fold almost flat they are highly versatile when packing kit, I have found I can squeeze on or two into my tripod bag, they also even fit into the lid of my Pelicase

Ich war bis jetzt immer sehr zufrieden mit Manfrotto-Stativen und habe auch schon mehrere Kamerastative im Einsatz, zum Teil seit fast zehn Jahren ohne Probleme. Nchdem mir meine alten Mettle Lichtstative zu Wackellig wurden habe lag es also auf der Hand dass ich mich auch diesmal wieder für Stative von Manfrotto entscheide.Leider bin ich von den Stativen dann doch etwas enttäuscht. Dafür dass die Stative erheblich teurer sind als die “noname” Alternativen sind sie zumindest in Puncto Stabilität m.E. nicht besser. Dass die Auszüge Luftgefedert sind oder dass man mehrere Stative zum Transport zusammenstecken kann sind zwar nette Spielereien aber für mich nicht so Wichtig. Insgesamt bin ich diesmal also eher enttäuscht von Manfrotto und diesen Lichtstativen und bin mir nicht sicher ob ich sie weiterempfehlen würde oder eher zu den günstigeren Alternativen raten würde.

Im Dreierpack absolut zu empfehlen. Absolut praktisch ist, dass man die Stative zusammen stecken kann. Schade nur, dass die Transportschlaufe optional ist und nicht, zumindest als empfehlenswertes Zubehör mit angeboten wird. Die Verpackung ist 1a in einem stabilen Karton. Weshalb das Paket noch zusätzlich in einen Riesenkarton gepackt hat, ist mir ein Rätsel. Jedenfalls hat mir dieses einige Probleme bereitet, da ich, bevor ich alles in den Wagen verstauen konnte, zuerst den Karton zusammen falten musste. Außerdem hätte ich das Paket an eine Packstation liefern lassen, wäre es zu groß gewesen, obschon das Dreierpackstativ eigentlich bequem in die Station passen würde.Amazon sollte beim Kauf unbedingt die Außenmaße der Verpackung mit angeben.Fazit: Stative sehr gut,verpackung mit viel Luft.Außerdem kommen die benötigten Zubehöre erst morgen bei mir an, obschon alles zusammen bestellt wurde.

If you’re reading this then like myself, your initial thought is probably. “HOW MUCH!?!?!….FOR A LIGHTSTAND!??!?”And for years I’ve been resisting paying for them. I’ve had many cheaper alternatives. Those that fold over. Collapsable legs. Ultra lightweight ones. I’ve probably spent more on different lightstands than if I’d have just bought these a few years ago!However, after using a friends at a wedding, I realised that the old adage “You get what you pay for” is true in this case.I love how light they are yet sturdy enough to hold my AD200 flash. The design means they can fold down smallish and clip together to make it easier to transport.The base is wide enough to give it stability though the larger ‘compact’ stand is better in this regard as the base is even wider.The only thing I could wish for is that it went another 10cm higher. Then these would be perfect.But yeah. Ultimately I ditched all my other lighstands and use three of the mini compacts and one normal ‘compact’Expensive but built to last for years and will stand up to professional usage.
