I like this very much but your Manfrotto 037 Camera Mounting Stud bought together broken and stuck inside of one end and made it unserviceable at all.Therefore I want the replacement so please advise me for the process.

This magic arm is an excellent product for any photographer and filmmaker. This is really handy in my studio i ordered one magic arm but then decided to another another one after a week because of its versatility.Really handy and useful product for any outdoor or indoor photography or videography.

ich arbeite und handle mit Wärmebildkameras. Der Magic Arm ist seit Jahren das von mir bevorzugte Stativ, wenn ich in der Industrie unterwegs bin und IR-Kameras für Messungen in Maschinen einbaue. Unten empfehle ich statt einer preiswerten Superclamp MA035 die Quick Action Clamp MA635. Kostet das Doppelte (ca. 40 €) ist aber auch besser im Handling.Zu fast jeder von mir vverkauften Wärmebildkamera möchten die Kunden ein Magic Arm Stativ, teilweise auch mit Magnetfuß, den ich aber nur als Stütze für den 1. Magic Arm emfehle (wenn es starke Schwingungen gibt), der die sündhaft teure IR-Kamera hält.Den Magic arm gibt es in div. Ausführungen auch ohne die praktische Schnellspannplatte. Hier würde ich nicht am falschen Fleck sparen. Die Variante mit Hebel statt Drehknopf spannt fester, ist aber umständlicher, weil der Hebel nicht langsam umgelegt werden kann. Eine Positionskorrektur der Kamera ist dann nicht mehr möglich. Den Drehknopf kann man langsam immer fester anziehen.

Excellent product, well made, easy to use. The arm adjusts and tightens easily to any angle. Quick release mechanism so easy to use. Holds a good weight without any movement. I have used a camera and lens about 1 kg, iPad and holder, phone and holder and small/medium size projector.

I work in news and I’m not a cameraman so any camera set-ups I do needs to be efficient, unfussy and simple. I use the magic arm to get a high shot or an interesting angle for sit-down interviews. This arm is perfect. I bought it alongside the super clamp which seems to fit on to anything. Just don’t lose the widget (which I did at first) as it allows the clamp to fit on to ridged as well as flat surfaces.The arm is really user friendly with one clamp controlling the whole device. It is solid which is vital when hanging an expensive camera upside down from a door or wherever.It packs up small which is a big plus and it weighs next to nothing but feels heavy duty.

Excellent piece of kit until the knob that clamps it in place gave up. Very unusually from my experience of owning and using Manfrotto gear for years. The thread stripped when I tightened it and would not longer tighten enough to hold the arm locked. replaced the item without question and I expect the new one will be up to Manfrottos usual standards.

A friend had one of these and was raving about it for ages, I couldn’t see what all the fuss was about – till I got one. It’s a brilliant bit of kit enabling you to pretty much get your camera secured/held anywhere and almost in any position you want. I bought mine alongside the Manfrotto Super Clamp – which means I’m pretty much sorted for most eventualities. It holds my heavy Nikon pro DSLR with lens pretty secure – so guess it’ll hold most camera/lens combinations within reason. I intend to use it on a rig for some car shots soon and it’ll be perfect for that. Downsides???? Well its a bit heavy, but then its not meant to be carried around all day.

These things are great and I have 4 of them at this point. If you ever need to mount a thing to another thing, and have it be a rock solid mount, then these things are like magic. The quick release arms are great for cameras and accessories. I use 2 of them with an SLR and a ring light to mount to the side of my desk and once you tighten them up, they won’t budge. It saves me tons of room not needing 2 c clamps next to my desk for camera and lighting.
